User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.11; rv:46.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/46.0 Build ID: 20160502172042 Steps to reproduce: imply trying to download the French dictionary from the addon page but the link seems to be broken; this is the link to the dictionaries page: https://addons.mozilla.org/it/thunderbird/language-tools/ and this is the link that is supposed to be used to download the French dictionary: https://addons.mozilla.org/it/thunderbird/addon/dictionnaires-fran%C3%A7ais/ I think the trouble is caused by the special "ç" character on the URL... Actual results: Tried to write do webmaster as suggested on the soft 404 page; received automated email that the webmaster address is not an active address and I have to file a bug.... Nice welcome for people who wants to underline an issue! Expected results: Activate webmaster email address; Repair broken link to French dictionary;

I can access the link from Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/it/thunderbird/addon/dictionnaire-fran%C3%A7ais1/ but not this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/dictionnaires-fran%C3%A7ais/ Perhaps the French localisers know what to do with this.

Not sure where you found the link [1] (without the trailing "1"). From the dictionaries page [2], I can see the link [3] (with the trailing "1") and it works as expected. If the link [1] is listed elsewhere, we should move this bug to the component related to the page where it’s listed, otherwise we should close this bug as incomplete as I see the correct link on the dictionaries page. [1] https://addons.mozilla.org/it/thunderbird/addon/dictionnaires-fran%C3%A7ais/ [2] https://addons.mozilla.org/it/thunderbird/language-tools/ [3] https://addons.mozilla.org/it/thunderbird/addon/dictionnaire-fran%C3%A7ais1/

(In reply to Théo Chevalier [:tchevalier] from comment #3) > Not sure where you found the link [1] (without the trailing "1"). In Thunderbird I use "Add Dictionaries" from the context menu. That takes me to a page whose URL I don't know. On there, this is the link to the French dictionary: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/dictionnaires-fran%C3%A7ais/ (see screen shot). In fact, the links is displayed as https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/dictionnaires-français Actually, in the DOM inspector the URL shows as https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/language-tools/ but if I visit this page, it has the link with the 1 at the end. Weird!! Can you try Thunderbird?

I can reproduce as well when opening the page from Thunderbird, really weird indeed. Also just noticed the extra "s" in the broken link: dictionnaire * s * -fran%C3%A7ais/ Looks like bugs for AMO are not reported on Bugzilla these days (except security bugs) but on GitHub. I filed this issue https://github.com/mozilla/addons/issues/126 so that we can close this bug and track the resolution on GitHub. Thanks for reporting the problem!
