Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:46.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/46.0
Build ID: 20160421124000

Steps to reproduce:

Each user added the calendars of user1 to their Thunderbird & Lightning and used their login credentials for authentication.

1) Setup a davical server and create three users (user1, user2, user3)
2) Create a handful of collections for one user (user1) and give the other users (user2 & user3) all access to these principles
3) The user2 creates an appointment in one of the user1 collections and invites the user3 to the appointment
4) The user3 syncs the calendars with the Sync Calendar button
5) User3 receives the invite and accepts it. Now the “import to calendar” dialog will pop up.
5.1) User3 will choose his/her own private calendar for the import

Actual results:

The original calendar item, which is in the user1 calendar, is updated but the copy in the private calendar of user3 is not created. There are no error messages in either the Thunderbird or davical error log. In fact the only message that is visible is the PUT request for the update of the user1 calendar.

Expected results:

User3 should have a copy of the original calendar item in his/her private caldav calendar.

Is step 5 of the STR an email invitation or is this bug about caldav scheduling?

Can you enable calendar.debug.log and calendar.debug.log.verbose in the config editor in advanced preferences, restart TB and attach the response to initial OPTIONS request? What is the state of calendar.caldav.sched.enabled in the advanced preferences?
