Steps to reproduce:

Try to watch some video on Firefox under Ubuntu Mate 16.04 running on Raspberry Pi 3 and some videos have audio problem.

Here is an example:

Most YouTube videos work, but there are some that have the same issue. 


Actual results:

Audio is noisy.

Play audio correctly.

Try installing Pulse Audio.

At least for me, removing Pulse Audio does fix the issue.  With ALSA all is fine.  As the submitter doesn't appear to know whether he's using PA, he probably is as that's the default for most distributions.

But then, the workaround is broken by #1247056...
