User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.11; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0 Build ID: 20160615004406 Steps to reproduce: Regarding "forgot password" 1. Press Forgot Password 1.2 "Oh-uh this account has not password," a link has been sent to reset it--something like that. 2. Get link on email, click on it 3. Go to Reset Link https://id.webmaker.org/reset-password?client_id=xxxxx 4. When Typing password created a asdf1234@@@¡@ type of password 5. It shows that "Error you need a an Upper Case" 6. Then it keeps loading and refreshes the page and 7. Congratulations! you have reseted your password ! Actual results: It allowed me to reset a password with invalid validation. I tried to reproduce with out success. Expected results: The request should have had had stopped. Unless the message for validation is an error, then it should not show that message, for its confusing. Browser: Version 51.0.2704.84 (64-bit) Max: OS X El Capitan

I'm closing this bug as part of the planned deprecation of the Webmaker component on Bugzilla. If this issue is still in need of fixing, you can file it on Github, where we track login related issues for Thimble. https://github.com/mozilla/login.webmaker.org https://github.com/mozilla/id.webmaker.org
