Details |
Brotli shipped in firefox 45 with a broken library (fixed in 46) and this can impact some facebook users - it can be disabled via pref - see bug 1273547. Benjamin asked that this be done via a system addon. Signing of the system addon was done in bug 1281600. According to Robert, in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1273547#c54 , the next step is uploading it to https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/system-addons/ - which is what this bug is about. The xpi is attached to this bug. hopefully this is a one-off so it would be easier to just have the upload handled for me rather than setting up credentials. I would expect it to be at https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/system-addons/brotli/brotli@mozilla.org-1.0.0-ff45.xpi But I suppose balrog can be pointed at any variation. Thanks!
