Steps to reproduce:

Install Nightly (v50); install 'Perapera Chinese Popup Dictionary' add-on; activate add-on on webpage


Actual results:

Add-on does auto-select one or multiple Chinese characters, but doesn't display the popup with translation


Expected results:

It should auto-select one or multiple characters AND display the popup with translation

Confirmed. It will works in the session after press A key.

I see many "unsafe CPOW usage" in browser console. function showPopup & hidePopup in chrome://cperapera/content/cperapera.js

just info for triaging: roughly 400,000 downloads.  issue being seen on latest version of add-on (feb 2016).  also a japanese version of add-on with roughly 300,000 users (jan 2016)
