Details

To reproduce this bug, do this:

1) Make sure Gnome is your default Window manager
2) Disable automatic start of X Window server
3) Login under any valid user ID
4) Become root using su
5) Start the X Window server by typing startx

Gnome will crash or hang. It permits login as root user, but does not permit
any valid user to become root prior to starting X
Why is this filed for CCK?
I'm sorry. The honest answer is I didn't know where to file it, and I thought
it important enough to file somewhere. I hope you can route it to whomever
should see it, and my apologies for the inconvenience.

Does this have anything at all to do with mozilla? If this is a gnome issue,
then see bugzilla.gnome.org.

-> browser general - its definately not m.o
