When running a debug build, if mozilla tries to open a native window, it will crash BeOS when trying to exit the debugger, or closing mozilla. Sometimes, it will not even let you get to the debugger. If it does, it states that there has been a segmentation violation poseview, which, I believe, is kernel land, and hence, the system crash. Under non-debug builds, everything is hunky-dory.

Someone that works on BeOS is going to have to take this. I neither develop nor test on BeOS.

Hm, i specially compiled it yesterday with DEBUG enabled and didn't noticed yet something alike. And "Poseview" AFAIK is in Tracker.
Sergei, I was doing a "Save as" or "Save link as" or "open" which opens some tracker windows. If I never did that, I didn't have a problem.

Paul, tried both OpneFile and SaveAs. Nothing special heppens.I seel lot of asserts about "thread-unsafety" in debug output, but not any crash here yet.
You can read a discussion about the "threads not safe" at Bug#92793. It should not be a problem, it is just the way that threads are handled under BeOS.
This problem is no longer happenning.
