I created a MDM account a long time ago (before persona) with my morac99-firefox2@yahoo.com email address which is an alias for my actual Yahoo email address. When I go to log in and try to use that address it asks me for a pin, but I never receive it. If I use my real email address it says there's no profile for it. Basically I can't log in to link my account since I never receive a pin email. The username for my profile is Morac.

morac, I'm sorry you are having trouble logging into MDN. The database shows that the Persona account for this yahoo.com email was created years ago. It was possible that it was branded as BrowserID at the time, and it wasn't clear that Persona was being used as the authentication backend. Persona "forgets" emails that haven't been used in a long time, for security reasons. You can recreate the Persona account with the same email, and MDN will accept it. The "PIN" email should come from no-reply@persona.org, or a similar @persona.org email account. For some users, this email was sent to their spam folder. You may want to check there. Re-establishing your Persona account is the easiest way to make the transition to GitHub. If that doesn't work, you'll need to create a new MDN profile using GitHub to signup, and then we can merge the new profile into the existing "morac" profile. I'll need to send an email to your old yahoo.com email to confirm that merge. Please let me know if you find the PIN email, and how you'd like to proceed.

Persona is recognizing the email address and letting me log in with it, I'm just stuck at the "Account don't match", "confirm your email address" screen since I never receive the pin. I've checked my spam folder, I just never receive an email. I know the email address works as I received an email from MDM there the other day. I've tried logging in a dozen times and not once received a pin email so it seems like that simply doesn't work. Since I'm unable to login to my existing account to do the merge, I had to create a new profile which I called "Morac2". Can you please merge the "Morac2" profile into my "Morac" profile?

OK, I've merged the two accounts, and now Morac has both Persona and Github associated: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/profiles/morac You should login with GitHub, and then go to the account connections page to remove Persona: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/users/account/connections Thank you for using MDN!
