Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:51.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/51.0
Build ID: 20160909142714

Steps to reproduce:

I think the sync process is very important.

But some actions from the sync process are interacting with my frontend (Main window).

For example: Sync Bookmarks: Browser is not responding when running Sync.Engine.Bookmarks	TRACE	Mapped

I observed the browser has not responded or has worked very slowly when the message at the top appears in the background (Browser console).

Is it possible to adjust the sync to run separately from the main window or the main process?

Actual results:

Browser hangs while synchronizing

Expected results:

Browser Sync not interacting with the main process.

You have a huge number of bookmarks. If logging at TRACE level causes problems for you, I suggest you change the log level to a higher value (eg, INFO).

Is it INFO enough to send attached to bugs report?
Because I still have one miríade of problems.
I really need solve these problems.. :-/

Is it possible to clear half of my bookmarks database at server?
(It's a sacrifice but I think that is a good idea)

I don't think TRACE levels are helping us at the moment - the main problem is the sheer volume of bookmarks.

That's not possible. However, you could consider exporting your bookmarks, then using a text editor to prune them, then reimporting them. If you then, say, delete your sync account, re-create it and re-sync the newly imported bookmarks, only those new bookmarks will appear on the server. You'll then need to reconnect all other devices after deleting all local bookmarks from them so they don't get re-uploaded.

You could also consider joining the #sync channel on IRC (see https://wiki.mozilla.org/IRC) where you can chat with us in real time about your issues (although note that due to timezones you may need to wait a number of hours for a response)
