User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0 Build ID: 20160922113459 Steps to reproduce: Search for a keyword in an email subject Actual results: The search tab only shows emails that have the keyword in the email body, but fails to show emails that contain the keyword only in the mail subject. Searching the same keyword in the "quick search" correctly shows all emails with the keyword in the body and/or subject. Expected results: the search tab should show emails that contain the search term in the subject even if the term does not exist in the mail body.

This bug is also not there if I use the "search window" that you can call from the main menu. It seems this is specific to the "search tab" that you get when you search from the "global search" in the toolbar, which is opened in a new search tab. My FF version is 45.3.0 and I have tried on two different machines (Win7 and Win10) and with both TB and TB Portable.

I don't understand what doesn't work. We distinguish "quick search" and "advanced" search, which function the same (Ctrl Shift K or Ctrl Shift F) and "global search" (Ctrl K). The tab that opens when you use the "global search" is the same as the global search on the main window itself. Both find messages with the keywords in the subject only. What am I missing?
