Determine why Thunderbird crash rate for Linux is more than double that of Windows.
Firefox+Linux is also higher then Firefox+Windows, but not double.

perhaps due to Bug 1316927 - Crash in shutdownhang | libpthread-2.23.so@0xd3b0 when closing thunderbird.

90+% of those crash are ubuntu per "platform version" section of the aggregation tab of https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/signature/?signature=shutdownhang%20%7C%20libpthread-2.23.so%400xd3b0#aggregations

More recently, 45.7.0 to be exact, the rate increased because of Bug 1335345 - Thunderbird crash when opening some email after upgrade to 45.7.0  This won't exist in 52.0 or 45.7.0

Another which shouldn't happen in 52.0 is Bug 1273020 - Crash in mozilla::a11y::ApplicationAccessibleWrap::Name  

The vast majority remain related to previously mentioned Bug 1316927. Including signature shutdownhang | libpthread-2.24.so@0xd4d0 which doesn't have a bug report.

Crash-stats no longer has numbers to demonstrate the premise of this bug is still true.
Do we have telemetry for crashes?
