Steps to reproduce:

made a jsfiddle to see difference between firefox and chrome.  See: https://jsfiddle.net/martlark/wartw1t1/

Using linux 16.04


Actual results:

color transitioned to red as expected in Chrome, but on firefox it became red and button became unexpectedly smaller. 


Expected results:

Just the background color of button should transition to red without any other style changes.
