[Tracking Requested - why for this release]:

I've gotten used to having the blackbox feature around for skipping over files that I don't care to debug, particularly in code I wrote. In the current Aurora build of FF52 (and for the last couple weeks), I've noticed that blackbox button is missing.

I really would like to get it back before FF52 becomes the next ESR. Sure, it's a very minor regression and shouldn't explicitly block the release... but a lost feature is a lost feature.
Patrick, do you know if the disappearance of the blackboxing feature is intentional? Is there some kind of replacement for its users?

Yes, intentional but planned and being tracked here: https://github.com/devtools-html/debugger.html/issues/1535

Thanks for the info Bryan. I guess this won't land in time for 52 then, not tracking.
I now notice that the lack of that feature is listed at https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Debugger/Limitations_of_the_new_debugger, I should have checked that earlier.
