As a user, I expect links that I open from an app using custom tabs will share cookie jar and permissions from the full Firefox for Android browser so I don't have to log in to sites that I already connected to, or granted permissions to.

Cookies and Permissions from the Browser should already be used (Should be tested by QA though) - However requesting new permissions might not work because there's no UI for that in the custom tab activity.

I created another bug for tracking the case of the new permission needed.

I will set this bug as RESOLVE WONTFIX since sharing cookie jar and permissions from the full Firefox for Android browser is done in custom tab, and Softvision will also verify the scenario.

Verified as fixed in build 55.0a1 from 2017-04-04.
Device: HTC Desire 820 (Android 6.0.1) and LG G4 (Android 5.1);

I will mark this as verified for keeping track of P1 bugs for Custom Tab feature. Testing was focused on log in in custom tab and user still logged in Nightly browser, and permissions already granted in browser like audio, video, location. For new permission request I will wait till Bug 1346694 is fixed.
