User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0
Build ID: 20161208153507

Steps to reproduce:

It happens randomly when i open firefox. So far i couldn't reproduce it but maybe it happens when opening firefox and chrome at the same time (???)

Actual results:

Everytime i type in certain letters firefox adds ´. the bug is fixed with just restarting firefox but it's still annoying.
OS: Unspecified → Windows 10
Hardware: Unspecified → x86_64
since it's hard to reproduce and the bug seems to occur randomly at the startup...
i can't reproduce it with just opening Chrome and Firefox at the same time... maybe it happens when both applications are added to the queue of programs to open.

when i boot my system I open thunderbird firefox and chrome. and sometimes this error occurs in firefox but not always. it's a difficult bug...
I think it's a dupe of bug 1320308.

Are you using the keyboard layout "Czech" too?
no. my keyboard layout is german. but it really looks similar.
but my CPU is one of the best you can buy so thats not it. and if i translate it correct, the text issue happens on the other program but not firefox.
in my case it's just in firefox! plus it's not several different signs it's just ´ and nothing else.

I have tested your issue on latest Nightly (Build ID: 20170111030235) and latest Firefox release v50.1.0 and could not reproduce it. I have restarted multiple times the browser + the PC with Firefox and Chrome set to start on PC startup and after that I kept pressing on letter A from keyboard. I didn't observe the extra character.

Can you please retest this using latest Nightly build (https://nightly.mozilla.org/) and report back the results ? When doing this, please use a new clean Firefox profile, maybe even safe mode, to eliminate custom settings as a possible cause (https://goo.gl/PNe90E).

Actually, this has happened to me as well. It is different than https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1320308 because that occurs during startup (and then regular operation is fine) whereas this bug occurs during regular operation and does not go away until firefox restart. It has happened to me a few times but only when using firefox via remote desktop. Restarting firefox fixes the issue.

If the issue occurs, some characters get a special character appended or prepended to them, regardless of how many times you type. It's as if another key was for some reason temporarily "stuck" being associated with that letter. In my case it was the letter "a" as well, in fact.

As stated before, I've only ever seen it happen when accessing the system via remote desktop and starting firefox then; and I've only ever seen it on 50.1.0. I'd attributed it to remote desktop keyboard bug rather than firefox, but since it did happen somewhat recently a few times, I may try to reproduce it.
as i said i don't know if chrome is the cause... maybe its just a really bad timing.
it just happens in firefox and i'm already using the lastest available version 50.1
i don't know what causes this bug it was just a theorie that if this programs is in the queue with some others that something's messed up. but the input issue happens just in firefox. not in chrome.

It randomly happened again, so I recorded it. Latest FF (51.0.1)

Demonstration of issue (it's a long gif, so do watch the whole thing:

It's a different issue because you can see that every time I type that specific letter (or a set of specific letters), they are always affected. In https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1320308 , this only happens OUTSIDE of firefox, and only during its actual startup (i.e. before you get any of the firefox UI elements on your screen).
