Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0
Build ID: 20161208153507

Steps to reproduce:

1. Imported .webm file to OBS (Open Broadcaster Software)
2. Went live streaming.
3. Opened said stream (vod: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/117607742) in both Firefox and Chrome
4. No issues in Chrome, only firefox (Multiple people tested)

Actual results:

On certain elements the decoder in Firefox will produce grey lines across a gradient instead of the actual gradient image as displayed:
Chrome left. Firefox right.

Expected results:

They should preferably be the same visual enjoyment for the viewer.
I spoke with the creator of Open Broadcaster Software (https://obsproject.com/) and according to him the data being encoded from OBS -> Twitch -> Browser is uninterrupted until it gets decoded by the browser. So the issue lies with Firefox's decoding of said information.
Component: Untriaged → Audio/Video: Playback
Product: Firefox → Core
Is the issue the very faint lines in the background? What results do you get on Edge? The link you provided no longer works. Do you have another one?
Flags: needinfo?(lindenkron)
Do you get a different result when you set media.ffvpx.enabled=false in about:config ?
