Copy and Paste Key Combos (Cmd C / Cmb V) no longer work within Thunderbird. It does work via the Edit Menu however.

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

Copy heading or body text (Cmd C) into a new message.

Actual results:

Does not copy correct contents. Instead previous clipboard content still there indicating the Cmd C never worked in the first place.

Expected results:

The clipboard contents should have been copied and pasted. The Copy never happened. When I try to copy via Edit menu, then it works as intended. However, it's faster and easier to use Cmd-C.

Richard, can you reproduce this on your Mac? The reporter seems to be using TB 52 beta.
OS: iOS 10 → Mac OS X
With macOS 10.11 I can copy/paste with cmd-c/v the subject line and the message content without problems on Daily (TB 54).

Abbiew, have you tried with all extensions disabled (see Help menu)?
This problem was solved with the last update : 53.0b2 (64-bit) !
Thanks for letting us know.
