Could you type about:support in the location bar and paste the section "graphics". Maybe a dupe of bug 1345379.

It's probably a dupe of bug 1345222 which is going to be fixed in 53+. Could you download Beta in a few days and test again to check if it's fixed. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/beta/all/
Just installed FF 53.0b4 to see if text problem had gone.. But unfortunately not :(
Any more news on a fix for this please? Oh and just to add text is blurry on FF 52.0.1 (64-bit) too

(In reply to Orb from comment #8) > Any more news on a fix for this please? Oh and just to add text is blurry on > FF 52.0.1 (64-bit) too Can you go to about:config, and set the preference "gfx.content.azure.backends" to "cairo" and see if that fixes it for you?

Yes.. That fixes it. Thank you very much :) JFYI.. The preference "gfx.content.azure.backends" was set to "direct2d1.1,skia,cairo". Thanks again.

(In reply to Jeff Gilbert [:jgilbert] from comment #12) > What's the next step here? I don't think there is much we can do here. Since this is on Windows XP, the best bet is to revert to cairo. XP is end of lifed.
