firefox stops working after i switch off my proxy

Steps to reproduce:

Firstly switched on my proxy plugin


Actual results:

Then after opening a website banned in my country closed the proxy and my firefox 
stopped working it was like if there was no internet the gui was working fine but internet was not working in firefox


Expected results:

Internet should be working even after I had logged out from proxy

Can you please elaborate on how you use the proxy and what you mean with "logged out from proxy" ?

Did you change the network settings to use the proxy? And when you stopped using the proxy, what did you then do with your network settings? What type of proxy (HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS etc) is this?
