My test in bug 1349005 reports resource://gre/modules/sdk/bootstrap.js as unreferenced.

This file has been added in bug 1009334, and from a quick look around I wonder if it may have been added only because it was a dependency for bug 1040276 which still isn't fixed (and doesn't seem likely to ever be fixed).

Mossop, given that you reviewed bug 1009334, do you happen to know if this file is actually used somewhere that my test can't catch, or if it's an unused file we should remove?

I think it's unused but can you check that with it gone a recent SDK add-on still works. Try the Gecko Profiler
