Dave, now that we have an ansible playbook for this, can you give it a shot?  Docs are at https://mana.mozilla.org/wiki/display/DEVSERVICES/Mercurial+-+Common+Repository+Operations#Mercurial-CommonRepositoryOperations-Resettingatwigrepo but give me a shout if you run into issues.

I ran the ansible-playbook. I needed to switch some steps to become:true and become_user:hg, and I stopped retrying and adjusting that after the pull and then I completed the steps manually.

The repo was reset at 19:00 UTC Friday Apr 7th.

For buildbot, we need the no-op reconfig.
I've emailed taskcluster-in@ for resetting the holly pushid and Dustin replied that he'll do it.

@Kim: are there any steps to follow in order to do a no-op reconfig for a twig? We haven't done that in the past, so it's something new.

I think you run end_to_end_config.sh with a -f to force a reconfig.  In any case, you need patches in bug 1353376 to enable the appropriate jobs on the holly branch as well.

Running end_to_end_config.sh will basically merge default branch to production for bbcustom and bb-configs repos, then reconfig the buildbot masters. As Kim mentioned, using -f will force a reconfig for the buildbot masters even though no changes are merged. 

But before doing any merge and reconfig, we'll need to land the patch(es) on bug 1353376. I'll make sure to mark this bug as resolved once the job is done. Keeping the needinfo as a reminder 'till then.
