Kilik, could you please help check it with your HLS implementation? Thanks a lot.

Check https://livestream.com/watch if you don't see video in worldchess.com

Hi John,Kevin, I've played the video from Discover tab, it used HLS and I've verified that it can be played by our HLS native solution related to bug 1345752. But I don't know the current situation on Fennec, I thought we have a workaround solution related to the front-end VideoPlayer.java
Depends on: HLS_on_Fennec

(In reply to John Lin [:jolin][:jhlin] from comment #3) > Check https://livestream.com/watch if you don't see video in worldchess.com It is not possible to use livestream directly in this case as this is a paid broadcast and only the paying members can access the embedded video. The stream is broadcast using livestream but the stream is not visible on the site.

I can watch live stream through https://livestream.com/accounts/23202872/events/7200883 and our HLS implementation (in review progress, bug 1345752) works on that.

supercilious.dude, Bug 1345752 has implemented a native solution for HLS, can you try to use nightly to see if you still can see this problem?

I think we supported HLS for Nightly/Beta/Release starting from 59. So I don't think it still an issue. Please feel free to reopen it if the issue occurred again.
