In bug 1359268, we added the ability to determine what device was a *target* of an event - but we don't have the ability to see the device *sending* the data. This would help us determine if particular platforms are over-represented in error states.

The only use-case for this currently is me wanting to experiment, so it's far from urgent, but it seems like a good idea.

It seems sync doesn't include the environment data in its ping and it seems tricky to get that into the events view without it. So I guess the first step is to get environment.system into our ping.
