From bug 1366761 comment 3: "Can you update your release automation scripts so that they update the previous-nss-release file and flush the expected ABI compat flags." Prior to Martin's comment, I had already written this self-reminder for me: automation tool "set version" should check if new major version is different from above comparison, and update if necessary, or warn and it should reset the "abi differences list" files below
