User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0 Build ID: 20170524180630 Steps to reproduce: I launch firefox from the command line or using a global shortcut key atleast in Ubuntu Mate 16.04 and Ubuntu 14.04 with mate all firefox windows seem to have a much much lower z index than all other apps (like Chrome, Caja, gCalculator, Nautilus etc.). This is not a Mate Desktop bug, but firefox for sure as firefox is the only app that behaves this way. Actual results: firefox opens up in the background (if the currently active window is not a firefox window) Expected results: firefox should open in the foreground no matter what app had focus last
