Additional Details :
At link-time, the Makefile has Motif libXm.a hardcoded to be
in /usr/X11R6/lib. On my system it is /usr/local/lib

I patched the makefile but a configurable way would be
better.
This happens in both 03-31 and 04-08 releases.

Try setting MOZILLA_MOTIF_SEARCH_PATH to /usr/local/lib.
