When using tabbed browsing I find it difficult at times to determine which tab is the active tab. I don't know if this is only on Windows but to me the slight shading difference does not have a high enough level of conspicuity (hey I ride motorcycles and we use the term conspicuity :) ). Is it possible to make it so the active tab is more easily discernible from the non-active tabs?
Are you using the Classic theme? In the Classic theme, using 2002031104 (0.9.9) on Win2k, it is hard to distinguish active from non-active tabs. They're all the same color; just a little shading on the edges indicates which tab is "in front". This makes the tabs hard to use. Using the Modern theme, it's easy to distinguish active from non-active tabs because they are different colors.

I think it is either a dup of bug 109607 or bud 136659 and yeah, I tried the classic theme and I agree that it is hard to see the active tab at one view.

Yes that is it. So I am changing the bug to a themes issue. Could the Classic theme use a different color for active versus inactive tabs?

would be possible, please add comments to bug 109607 because if you're talking about classic theme, this is a dup :) I think somebody is working on it there at the moment. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 109607 ***
