User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/60.0.3112.24 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

Nothing actually. I'm running Thunderbird all the time. Occasionally I notice that it's no longer running. I don't know why. It just stops.

Actual results:

Come back to my computer and find Thunderbird has stopped running. No explanation is given. I see no signs of a crash or anything. Been logging stdout/stderr which I will attach. Doesn't seem to be any clues in there though.

Expected results:

It should have kept running.

When did it start happening?
Does the end of the log tend to be the same - some type of folder operation?

I'd say it started happening about a month ago. I've seen different log endings. I'll try to capture another one and post it here.

Here's another log, Thunderbird just died on me.

Another crash
I'm beginning to think it might be the Firetray addon. I have "Closing window hides to tray" and often hit the X button to close Thunderbird. Normally it just hides to the tray as expected. But I wonder if there is a window where clicking on X does not cause Firetray to hide to the try but instead triggers a close application... I will try to watch every time I "put away" thunderbird by clicking on the X and insure that the tray icon is active or if it goes away as a result of clicking the X.

or unity related?

Either way you should disable all non-essential addons or start Thunderbird in safe mode.
Closing on the assumption this is being cauesd by an addon. Feel free to provide more details.
