User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.12; rv:56.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/56.0
Build ID: 20170622100314

Steps to reproduce:

I start netflix in fullscreen (video fullscreen, not firefox fullscreen)

Actual results:

The cursor/pointer doesn't disappear on macOS
Component: Untriaged → Audio/Video
Product: Firefox → Core
Component: Audio/Video → Audio/Video: Playback
It disappears on Netflix for me provided that I move it off the overlay. I'm using Mac OS X version 10.12 and Firefox nightly. The steps I'm using are:

1. Start Firefox on movie URL
2. Move mouse cursor to the middle of the video
3. Press F

Results:

Cursor disappears.
Michael - any idea why you're getting a different result?

@anthony What happens if you still move the cursor after being in fullscreen?

My way is I'm on Netflix, and I click on the fullscreen button of the netflix player. I move the mouse, and it doesn't disappear.

Jim - do you want this one?

A regression range makes the most sense.

Tracy do you have netflix?

I do have Netflix. However, I am unable to reproduce this with latest Nightly 57.0a1 (20170906). If I wait 2-3 seconds the cursor disappears as expected and it returns to visible when the mouse is moved. Doesn't matter if it's in full video mode or actual full screen.

Erwann - this seems difficult to reproduce. Can you please attach the information from about:support? Do you agree that this is a regression, and if so can you try mozregresion to narrow it down to a specific change?

It seems I don't have the problem anymore. Cheers.
