[Affected versions]:
- Firefox 56.0a1 (2017-06-28), Firefox 55.0b4

[Affected platforms]:
- Mac OS X 10.12.5

[Steps to reproduce]:
1. Launch Firefox.
2. Open a new tab.
3. Select the Window button from the menu and observe how the current tab is displayed.

[Expected result]:
- 'New Tab' is displayed in the Window menu.

[Actual result]:
- For Nightly build, 'Nightly' is displayed in the Window menu.
- For the Beta build, 'Mozilla Firefox' is displayed in the Window menu.

[Additional notes]:
- This bug is not reproducible on Windows and Ubuntu OSs, since Window menu is available only on Mac OS X.
- This bug does not affect Firefox 54.0.1 build.

I believe bug 1427186 fixed this. Mihai, can you confirm?

I managed to verify the issue on Firefox 62.0a1(2018-05-09), Firefox 61.0b3 and Firefox 60.0 and the actual result is the same as in Comment 0. The issue is still reproducible. 
I am reopening this issue since it was not fixed by Bug 1427186 .

Okay, I think you've got your expected behavior backwards. We want to display "Nightly" only here, always without "New Tab". Bug 1427186 did that.
