add-ons go into "needs to restart" loop while trying to install

Steps to reproduce:

Trying to install this on firefox 54.0.1 (32-bit), windows 7

Actual results:

I restart, i click again, i get this http://imgur.com/a/Yxwyl

I restart, i click again, im in the same loop


Expected results:

Install complete, i can run the add-on and not have to spend 1 hour google-ing and doing bug requests on the internet.
After finding this post, i see that i can check if it is installed by looking at the Tools Menu

But still, if i check at firefox addons, it shows that it is not installed.

Work for me in Fx54 on Win10. Your profile may be damaged or locked.

With WebExtensions a restart is no longer required to install an extension, so this bug is no longer valid.
