Seen this with a try build on Windows 10 x64:

Marionette is requesting a restart of Firefox via "eRestart","eAttemptQuit". While Firefox is shutting down the following error is thrown:

JavaScript error: resource://shield-recipe-client/lib/RecipeRunner.jsm, line 153: TypeError: prefs is undefined

I assume the preferences service doesn't work anymore and the addon should have been told to stop already?

Henrik, sorry for the late response, but have you seen this again since you initially filed it? The try build you linked to isn't live anymore, so it is hard to tell what was going on at this point.

I cannot say. We have lesser failures those days, so I do not check log files that often anymore.

Alright. I think that this is probably something we have fixed in the meantime the, especially with bug 1426530. I'm going to close this as fixed now, but if you see this again, please re-open.
