Details

Android nightly on Samsung Galaxy S8

I got a warning my storage was running low. S8 has a utility for finding removable files, so I ran it.

Here's a screenshot showing 8gb of our cc/gc edge log files taking up device storage: https://i.imgur.com/eMS4Bqf.png

We're still not 100% sure if bug 1393058 will fix this. Could you make sure you update to a Nightly that has that fix, and then see if these logs come back after using it for a bit? (I don't know how often the logs are created.) Thanks!

Also, do you have the file creation dates on those logs? I'm curious if this is something that gets triggered all the time, or very rarely, and they are just building up over time. That would factor into how confident we could be that we've fixed this after a bit of testing.
Nope, I deleted them all. I'll check again in a few days to see if there are more. I've only had this device for less than two months, so definitely within that time period.
