User Story
For cross-channel on Beta, we need: * initial content, m-c and c-c merged in one repository, one head * updater code to maintain that single head * merge localizable files across channels, at least two Out of scope should be: * running the updater in automation * merging configuration files * dealing with the actual merge (the first merge is just a fork for x-channel) ** debugancestors ** closed head
To be able to do cross-channel on Beta, we need a couple of work items to be done. This tracks that work, so that we have a central point for other bugs to depend on.

Yes, let's mark this fixed. The dependencies are mostly dating back to the plan of running automated x-channel generation first, and then use it. We're using it now, and work on automation as a follow-up, so that's cool. Should probably also go through the dependency chain and mark some bugs as fixed these days :-) Thanks for the reminder.
