+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1399163 +++

This bug tracks the new Firefox Quantum icon. 

We would like this icon by I guess one month before Firefox 57 i.e. approximately October 14, 2017?. TBD. Exactly when.

Please:

1. Make it the same size as the other logos in the spritesheet here:
    https://github.com/mozilla/kitsune/blob/master/kitsune/sumo/static/sumo/img/logos.large.sprite.png

OR

2. Give us the icon as big as possible in PNG format please :-)

setting to P2 because this will be in a sprint in October i.e. in the future (set it to P1 in October), right :madalina

currently the site's favicon is also a firefox logo - should we turn that into the new brand's mozilla m instead or update it to the new firefox logo as well?

i don't know, i think that is a separate bug or should be a separate bug if it's not already a bug

so unneedinfo'ing martell and shorlander
