Details

Two machines are down:

- the cmp-win machine is down. I can't ssh or rdesktop into it.
- the quantum ref machine is down. I can ssh, but now do much there. I can also rdesktop, but then I get locked in a black screen, with a small window named "personalized settings" not responding, and nothing else (no desktop, no icons, no start menu).

I suspect there was an automatic windows update, since both windows machines are affected (*cough* blueborne *cough*).

It'd be great if somebody in the office could have a look at these two machines, try to physically reboot them and/or fix them, please?

We had some updates. I forced awfy-win8 to update as well. Everyone is up and running again.
