Steps to reproduce:

1. Install 'Translate' Now add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/translate-now/?src=search
2. Pin its toolbar icon to the Overflow Menu


Actual results:

The Overflow Menu is expanded to show some kind of submenu for this add-on. Clicking the 'back' arrow in the submenu collapses it temporarily, as it is immediately expanded to its original size. 


Expected results:

The Overflow Menu wasn't designed to be expanded in this way? See attachment.

I can reproduce this but not 100% of the time.

Is that add-on force-showing the browser action panel or something? :-\

Here's some better STR:

0. make sure button is in toolbar
1. left click on button to translate.
2. context menu -> pin to overflow.
3. open overflow menu.
4. left click on button to translate.
5. re-open overflow menu

once it gets in this state it stays in this state until the subview has been closed via the "<" button
