User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0 Build ID: 20171016185129 Steps to reproduce: 1. Open WhatsApp web (web.whatsapp.com) 2. Open a chat 3. Copy some image in clipboard 4. Click on the chat box and press Ctrl+V Actual results: The image gets pasted in the chatbox textfield. Expected results: A prompt for sending image as an attachment should have appeared.

Hi socialtechday, thanks for the report. I'm unable to reproduce the issue in Firefox 59 for Linux. Can you confirm if the issue still happens for you?

The same has happened to me for half a year, so I have to use the WhatsApp Web in the Microsoft Edge and it is a bummer not to have everything in the same browser.

As I just saw in another report, it happens when you have the "privacy.resistFingerprinting" in true.

The issue seems to be fixed, the prompt is displayed now.

Note: If I switch "privacy.resistFingerprinting" to true, the prompt is still triggered, but the image preview is not visible.
