If you have the new field test version of MOTIF 1.3, Mozilla will not run. It
hangs at startup.

MOTIF Engineering are aware of this problem and as soon as there's any news I'll
report it back here.

out of curiosity, are you using mozilla-Xlib, Qt, Gtk2, or Gtk?
[mozilla-motif was cvs removed]
We're using GTK+ (1.2.8).
With FT2 of MOTIF 1.3, Mozilla is running again. Since nothing is checked in to
Mozilla to fix this, I'm marking WORKSFORME.
