I am unable to post a reply or start a thread to any forums site ie:
Macfora,Macaddict,Japantoday, etc. I just keep getting bounced back to the login
page. When I initialy log in, the login data is accepted by the site as good.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Access forums page
2.log in
3.send reply to a posting, or attempt to start a new thread.

Actual Results:  bounced back to login page

Expected Results:  forums posting shows up on that thread, or new thread started

did not have this problem with netscape 6

To cookies; this is likely fixed by today's checkin to fix some cookie-rejection
logic....

Is your cookie-acceptance pref set to originating-server-only?  If so, try it 
with accept-all.

Have downloaded build #2002051708 and am still having same problem. Cookie
acceptance has always been set to "all".

David, is this problem still reproducible using a current build? If so, can you reproduce this 
problem using a new Mozilla user profile?
