Details
I wish I had more tools to try to look for the following in more detail. I have noticed that qith the release and my using Mozilla 1.0 RC 3, that if my network connection drops (I have a Windows 2000 machine running Internet Connection Sharing), and I quit Mozilla that I have running on my Mac, the Windows box dials up again. Anyone have a packet sniffer, or some other diagnostic tool to confirm this?
That's possible. Mozilla closes for example all open IMAP connections (as required by the protocol). There are probably other connections which get closed on application shutdown and therefore produce a small amount of net traffic.
