Sorry, i wrote it wrong : « A new tab should have been opened with the linked URL » is the EXPECTED result, of course.

I could reproduce this issue on Version 63.0a1 Build ID 20180720101508 User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:63.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/63.0

As far as I see, this works now, at least using mozilla-inbound build.
