I would prefer that Tabbed Links should display only after loading completely at
the earliest. In other words, don't leave the first page to go to the linked
page until the linked page is fully downloaded.

Actually, I would typically prefer to remain on the first page until I have
finished selecting all the linked URLs to be tabbed because I frequently have
more than one new link to explore. Perhaps the user should indicate this to the
program by using a combination of keystrokes such as 'Shift' along with
'Control' left mouse button (ie the 'Shift' reverses the sense of the 'Control'
key) so that the focus remains on the first page (while other pages load) and so
that all pages can selected before moving on from the first page. After
completing the selection process, the user would ultimately indicate a desire to
go to the next page by alternatively clicking on the tab or the new window as
required. This capability is especially important with slow loading pages while
letting the user maintain continuity of next page selection.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.It's just a suggestion.
2.
3.

Actual Results: Not yet implemented.

Expected Results: It would save considerable time and lead to less confusion
from jumping around, back and forth, from selecting to viewing, etc.

This ability to remain on the initial page should operate whether one is loading
links into new windows or into a tab of an existing window.

Similar functionality via Right clicking should be implemented as well.
David: you'll be pleased to know that this is already implemented. Go to Edit |
Preferences, then under Navigator, Tabbed browsing, you will see an option for
"load links in background" - that enables the behaviour you're looking for.
