-cursor placement
  - I did not have problems with this. Usually clicking somewhere places the
cursor in the place I want. When something gets selected instead of getting
cursor inside clicking one more time works.
-selection
-the easiest thing to select is text.
-you can usually select a non-text object by clicking or dragging somewhere nearby
-this is very inconvenient for tables which are composed of many non-text
objects and you usually cannot tell which will be selected (ie. dragging _above_
a table may select one or more of its top cells or some part of text in one or
more of these cells)
-there are objects which are well integrated with text and allow easy
selection by dragging over the text but other object are much harder to include
in selection. ie on bugzilla pages there is a logo in the top, which is hard to
select by dragging over by itself. But even worse is the fact that I was unable
to start on the top, drag over the logo and a table(or hr). In the case I
managed to extend the selection over the logo and following text, the selection
disappaered as soon I reached the table(or hr) below the text.
-after a few (multi) clicks, drags and accidental invocations of link dialogs
the UI no longer responds to single clicks or drags, only multiclicks can be
used to select words/lines/objects, and I can't see any cursor. I also noticed I
have two selections visible. One is the selection controlled by mouse ond the
other is the only item in Version select (I tried to edit the bug report form).
In some intermediate state I had a cell selected and clicks or drags outside the
cell did nothing, only clicking inside the cell placed cursor into the cell's text.
hramrach, you're reporting too many individual issues in this one single bug.
Bugs need to be more specific.

Michal, I think it would be best if you closed this bug and opened a new one for
each of the issues you mention below.
OK, I think the most annoying issues are already covered elsewhere.
