From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530 BuildID: 2002053012 I find that if user want to save a file which named with Chinese Traditional(Big-5 code), filename will disappear. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. save "http://fox1.csie.ncu.edu.tw/~virtu/測試.zip" 2. 3. Actual Results: the filename in the save-dialog is ".zip"! Expected Results: It should be "測試.zip" The zh-TW version(mozilla-win32-1.0-zhTW-installer.exe) alse have this problem!

Chii, this should be fixed now. Can you please re-test with a 1.1alpha Milestone build or a more current nightly build? Thanks.
It cause a new bug, Mozilla will crash after I click "OK" in save-dialog even though the filename is in English.

I have a similar problem in version 1.2.1. I was downloading single-user levels from http://www.planetdrakan.com/levels/. When I want to save the zip file, the first two letters of the proposed save name are missing. E.g. should be "dragonmech.zip" (http://bla bla/dragonmech.zip) but I get "agonmech.zip" instead. Didn't check if this occurs elsewhere.

Weird. Try this again on a recent nightly, and take a screenshot.
The bug had resolved. It work correct in Mozilla 1.4(rc3) Good Job! http://fox1.csie.ncu.edu.tw/~virtu/file/upload/mozilla.jpg
