font-weight: bold, <b> and <strong> are all ignored when applied to a Gill Sans font. See attachment for example.

Either the installed font does not actually have a bold weight, or the weight calculation code in font land is failing...

unapersson@hotmail.com, I don't have access to "Gill Sans" font. Could you try loading the page in both Communicator and IE and see if they support bold for this font. An additional test would be to try selecting "Gill Sans" in Microsoft Word and see if you can make it bolder. It is likely that "Gill Sans" only supports a normal font weight. Thanks.

I've tried it in both Netscape 4 and IE 4, and it works on both.
