for students, educators, etc., having the proper bibliography string entry appeneded to clip-board content might be helpful.

I cannot see what you are getting at. Could you give an example? Preferably a step-by-step account of what behaviour you would like. Also keep in mind that there is such a thing as featurebloat... :O)

something like some text ripped from the Web. some text ripped from the Web. more stuff ripped from the Web. more stuff ripped from the Web. some text ripped from the Web. some text ripped from the Web. author, "document title" (document date) <doc url> (today's date) maybe put this in mozdev.org instead?

So you mean that whenever I copy some text from a page and then paste it in any other application, Mozilla will add "author, "document title" (document date) <doc url> (today's date)" after the word that i've copied? This seems like a bad idea
