click down (but not up) on any of the image links on the left side.
observe the whole page or parts of it shift a pixel left or right.
cancel the drag, click another link, observe the same.

Linux 2002062608 1.1a+
XFree86 4.1.0 81x81 dots per inch, moz set to obtain dpi from server

I've seen this on many other sites but never quite as perfectly repeatable as here

PC/All. I think this is a focus issue, not a single pixel rounding error bug.
And, I'm seeing the same affect while right-clicking or middle-clicking on links.

Same here. Variety of pages. Linux, XFree86 4.2.1 (tried with 4.3.0, got same
problem). Some things shift on mouseover too --- for example, the "print" button
in the default Mozilla toolbar! Shifting seems to be affected by the width of
the window and some other things. One interesting that is that on a mouseover
shift, if the image is half-displayed, the part displayed will shift. If you
then scroll down, the remaining portion is a pixel off! That makes it a
painting, rather than a layout, bug. I'm also getting strange text shifts when I
highlight them. This is really weird.
On www.ucomics.com/fredbasset . Mouseover the comic, image displays properly.
Mouseover the combo box "Comics" or "Editorial Cartoons" and those pixels in the
comic directly below the combo box shift one pixel left. This bug is in Mozilla
1.6, (Build 2003110115) and has existed at least since Mozilla 1.1.
