Images won't load after installing Shockwave (Director) plugin. I only see the 
text and hyperlinks. Sometime it loads a couple of images on a page. It 
happens on all websites that I test, except on MSN.com <gasp>

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Mozilla
2. Visit any web site
3. 

Actual Results:  Images are not displayed.

Expected Results:  Display the images.

I also have Netscape 7 Preview Release installed. When installing shockwave 
plugin, it installed for both of them at the same time. When completing the 
installation, the Shockwave launched Netscape to complete the installation.

PS. This page won't load on Mozilla. It shows empty white page.

hendra, what version of shockwave did udownload, from where? I have not seen 
anything like this b4. will check it out asap.Thx!

I figured out the problem.

Mozilla doesn't display the images in cache after I install Shockwave. To fix
the problem, I clear the cache. Apparently, those sites in the screenshots were
the sites that I've visited before. I must have never open up MSN site, that's
why the images were displayed.

The Shockwave plugin version that I installed:
Version: Shockwave 8.5.1
Platform: Windows
Browser: Netscape or Netscape-compatible and CompuServe 7.0
File size: 488 K

he is not using NS6. ( i thought this is a dupe of the bug "ns6cache". )

Do you run Mozilla and NS7 at the same time while installing ?

Yes, when I installed it the first time, I did install for both of them (Mozilla
and NS7.)

I manage to reproduce the bug. I reinstall the Shockwave, this time is just the
Mozilla only. The same problem happens again.

using branch bits from 20020708 on win98
1. opened new window
2. displayed the netscape home page (lots of graphics)
3. went to www.macromedia.com and installed shockwave - I hate how it forces the
browser to shut down
4. after installation, I selected to return to netscape.com via history and the
page rendered correctly.

what step or process am I missing?

I uninstalled NS 7, and reinstalled Shockwave plug-in for Mozilla. The bug
didn't happen. I guess you must have NS 7 installed in your system to reproduce
the bug.
